Table Concert

  - with Personal Computer

A long table, around which concert participants sit - a maximum of twelve persons. At one end of the table, a personal computer with screen. This is the situation in which the concert is to be performed.

Before the concert starts, players agree upon the length of the concert and how many persons at most may play in any one of the concert events. Players may also decide about other aspects such as amplification, dynamics, etc.

The concert is structured as a sequence of successive events whose sequence is controlled by chance functions in the personal computer's program. That is, the program gives players a randomly generated time structure, the game rule they play by.

Otherwise, players are completely free to do what they want during the events they participate in. Their contributions may be of a musical, visual or performing nature - or any other. Players may relate to each other in their activities during the concert, or not. Within the time structure set forth by the computer and its program, they improvise freely.
