Tilman Küntzel
Three Roses -Three Music Boxes, 1998/99
Small lamps are integrated into the blooms of the three silk roses. They are switched
on and off by the production of warmth by the burning lamps (bimetall). The intervals
of the lamps' burning are aleatoric and control three music boxes which play the melody
Gingle Bells.
