 The Klinky Dinky Diva
Margaret Leng Tan is known as one of the world's finest new music pianists, and for her groundbreaking work inside the piano plucking and bowing the strings. Besides she has inspired composers to create a brand new repertory for a new instrument. Internationally acclaimed as the toy piano diva , she transforms a child's toy into a vehicle for artistic work. Exploring to the fullest measure the toy piano's expressive and virtuosic capabilities, she brings out subtleties of nuance, articulation, and tonal shading that elevate the instrument beyond the novelty status into the domain of 'real' instruments.
