This drawing comes from the very interesting book The Voice of New Music by the American composer Tom Johnson. Published by the Apollohuis, Eindhoven, in 1989 it brings together texts, which Tom Johnson has written for the Village Voice in New York during the years 1972 until 1982. A digital version of the book could be downloaded from the internet.
