Nils Krüger and Andrea Herrmann
Creaking Door, best not oiled.
A door has an important function. Standing in front of it, if the door
is closed, you are "out". Standing behind it, if the door is closed, you
are "in". When you are standing on the sill and open and close the door,
it can express itself acoustically. One says it is creaking.
Andrea Herrmann from the Berliner Tonkneter thinks, it could be a good
musical instrument, and she stages that masterly.
