Wolfgang Peter Menzel Sound is part of your body. During preparing an exhibition in 1993 Wolfgang Peter Menzel let his heart and its sound to be registrated by ultrasound and EKG at Linköpings Univerity Hospital in Sweden. Both parts then got involved in the Pacemaker exhibition. In the course of the work this became obvious: the human body is full of sound. In an echofree chamber this would lead to a deafening torture - nobody would stand it for a long time. But - people are sounding bodies too, the world is sounding - even if you are absolutely quiet, it is a question about inside or outside.
