I am a musician and as a musician I fight against to things: Against loud noise (Lärm) and against silence (Schweigen).

Daniel Barenboim Noise and Silence (Schweigen) The Israeli conductor Daniel Barenboim commits himself to a peaceful agreement between Israel and Palestine. By these words he refused the reproach of having provoked a scandal by his speech in the Israeli parliament. He had asked whether the Jewish people could permit themselves to be indifferent towards the rights and suffers of the Palestine people. from Berliner Zeitung of May 11th 2004
